30 Standard Blockages
I was invited by Christine and Paul Walde to create a performance action for the Fête Accompli event they hosted for the launch of Christine Waldes Bride Machine multiple project.

I handed out 30 small cards as inviation to guests to have their foot covered with a black sock and then placed into my mouth. I then peeled off each sock and let them land on the floor as they did. The action was inspired by Duchamps Standard Stoppages work and used my belly brain research to provide parameters such as 30 for the proposed number of feet of intestines that humans have, and the foot in mouth providing a stoppage, or blockage.
